Wherever I go, whatever I am doing, I try to paint outdoors, in watercolor or pastels but mostly with oil paint.  The following pieces are just a small  example of my plein air paintings.  They are one to three hour impressions done winter or summer, any weather at all.  The freshness and spontaneity of an "on location" painting makes it my favorite art form.
